  Bank Alfalah has introduced a new service under its Digital Banking portfolio called ‘Alfa Business App’ eyeing on the needs of the SME Segment. In the prevailing circumstances, where businesses are shifting their operations towards digital platforms, Alfa Business is aimed at facilitating small and medium enterprises to carry out their everyday transactions digitally. This product is particularly helpful for the aspiring business-women who wish to kick start their online business from the ease of home.Alfa Business App will support business operators through a range of useful features, that include:
  1. Easy and seamless Digital Merchant onboarding process that has removed the of branch visit for account opening
  2. In-App dynamic QR codes to accept payment from customers
  3. Real-time transaction notifications and business ledger to keep track of business performance
  4. Point-of-sale services: Customer’s wallet opening and Cash-in facility
  5. Digital Loan facility of up to PKR 1 Million based on QR transactions

  Alfa Business can be downloaded from Google Play Store and users simply require a valid CNIC to sign up in compliance with all regulations. Merchants will be granted an initial monthly transaction limit of PKR 500,000 simply by completing the registration process.

  Merchants can generate dynamic QR codes to receive payments from their customers. Furthermore, active  Alfa Business merchants in general and women entrepreneurs in particular in marketing support to boost their online audience as well as sales.

• BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) on Alfa QR: For the first time in Pakistan, Bank Alfalah offers a ‘Buy Now Pay Later’ facility on QR which allows BAFL Credit Card customers to scan and pay in installments through QR codes at retail facilities with Alfa while availing 0% markup on various products.Alfa’s newly launched Buy Now Pay Later on QR feature offers physical product verification before purchase, instant availability, and a simple installment booking process. With no markup and a swift installment process, customers can enjoy convenient shopping on 0% installment plans for up to 1 year, at all QR retail outlets nationwide. To promote this product to women QR merchants and help them grow their businesses, we will be charging no MDR and will be providing full-fledged marketing support.
• Merchant Financing – QR Merchants
  We see women entrepreneurs rising every day! Bank Alfalah, being the first in the industry, offers financing to the QR merchants to meet their working capital requirements. These loans are capped at 1 million and the merchants can repay monthly within a year.For women, we intend to provide loans digitally without the need to visit the branch.
