The IPS Account at Bank Alfalah offers customers a secure and convenient way to invest in government securities, including Treasury Bills (T-Bills), Pakistan Investment Bonds (PIBs), and Ijarah Sukuks. Our IPS accounts are custodial, ensuring that your investments are managed with care and transparency.
Types of Securities:
T-Bills:
- Tenors of 3, 6, and 12 months
- Issued in multiples of PKR 5000
- Zero-coupon instruments issued at a discount, with the face value redeemed upon maturity.
PIBs:
- Tenors of 3, 5, 10, 20 years
- Issued in multiples of PKR 100,000
- Long-term bonds available in both fixed and floating coupon types
Ijarah Sukuks:
- Tenors of 1, 3, 5, 7 years
- Issued in multiples of PKR 100,000
- Issued in non-paper form with semi-annual coupon payments
